Under sink three Stage Water Filter System (US-3)
is suitable for home, apartment, schools, hotel, restaurant and anywhere there is a faucet connection. Is ideal for kitchens with limited under sink cupboard space.
This system (US-3) features a 5 micron sediment pre-filter to remove sand rust and sediment, a high performance 5 Micron Granular Activated Carbon Filter and high performance 5 Micron Coconut Shell Carbon Block Filter. Quick-Connect fittings make installation a snap.
Us-3 filter is placed out of the way, under the sink. It connects to the cold water line with a tee water connector (1/2″ in/out NPT ports and 1/4″ OD Quick Connect side output with valve) and dispenses water through an attractive long reach faucet. Quick-connect fittings make for fast, easy installation. A 1/2-Inch hole is all that is needed for the faucet stud (all series), but a cover plate is included to accommodate larger pre-drilled holes.
The US-3 accepts all standard 10-inch replacement filter elements. So when it’s time for a new filter, you can rest assured that you’ll find all the right parts.

– Sediment filter is often the first filter installed in the Reverse Osmosis circuit. Sediment filters are made of fine melted polypropylene, which is then blown and spun in a cylinder-like form. The main function of a sediment filter is to remove large and fine particles from a drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles. Removal of such particles allows for a better performance of all the following filters, such as Carbon Block or GAC filters.

– Block Carbon Filters are similar in their performance to that of GAC filters, being made of fine coconut shell carbon they also do remove odors and tastes of many organic compounds, chlorine especially. Though, because this filters are made of a packed carbon (forming a cylinder block), they offer a much finer filtration of suspended particles and dirt.
