  • Condition: Missing the tension rods and strainer. Shell has some scuffs and wear on the finish. Rims have some corrosion on the metal parts.

    • This is a LYON & HEALY antique wooden snare drum shell with the top and bottom rims and 2 wooden hoops to hold the calfskin heads (heads are not included).  It probably dates from around 1900 – 1910.  It is missing the strainer, snares, heads, and tension rods.
    The shell has some scuffs on the finish, but is in good overall condition.  The rims are wooden, with metal edges.  The edges are lightly corroded here and there.  The Lyon & Healy label is in very good condition.
    Dimensions of shell: 15 1/4″ X 4 1/8″
    A good project, if you’ve got the parts.
